CJD there is no tutoring this week. We will start NEXT Tuesday, 1/13. Please pick up your child at the regular scheduled time this week.
Secondly, all car riders should be picked up on time daily at 3:15 pm. Students can't be in the building after 3:30 pm because there is no supervision at this time due to the building being closed. Thus, please make appropriate arrangements. If an emergency occurs that prevents timely pickup, call the school asap to notify us of the late pickup. Students in violation will receive a letter with potential consequences. Thank you in advance for helping to keep our school safe!

A Spark for the Season ✨ As we head into Winter Break, we're taking a moment to reflect on the light shining across Fairfield City Schools, from our classrooms to our community partnerships. CJD Parents: We are having our honors day program on this Friday, 12/5 at 9:00 am for all grade levels. We will honor A/ AB and perfect attendance. Parents please check with your student to see if they received a letter and use the QR code to rsvp for the ceremony so we will have enough chairs. If your student will be participating in the ceremony (on the agenda) they will need to wear a white top and black bottoms. Please begin reporting at 8:45 am.
CJD: IReady testing continues on tomorrow. Please ensure your child is in attendance. If they missed school they must be here on Friday to make up their missed exam.
Secondly, for those that received a field trip for, mainly A & AB Honor Roll students please be ensure to turn in your permission slip along with 6 dollars if you plan to attend the field trip to Krispy Kreme on December 18, 2025. Money is due no later then next Monday, please give money to Ms. Kala or office administration.
CJD: We need ALL students present tomorrow and Thursday for our mandatory district iReady winter assessment. Additionally, please encourage your child to try their best so we will know how to improve their instruction so we can level them up. Lastly, students with perfect attendance, who give their best, and have good behavior will be invited to an iReady celebration! We look forward to seeing our scholars showing up and giving their best!!
CJD: Just a friendly reminder that "Muffins with Mom" will be taking place tomorrow 12/2 at 9:00 am. You can start reporting to the cafeteria at 8:45 am. We look forward to seeing all of our mothers and mother figures in the building. Your daughter will be joining you. Students that achieved perfect attendance, A honor roll or A/B honor roll received a letter on 11/14 to bring home. Parents please check with your student to see if they received a letter and use the QR code to rsvp for the ceremony on 12/5 at 9:00. If your student will be participating in the ceremony they will need to wear a white top and black bottoms.
