CJD's Meet & Greet for 6th grade / NEW 7th and 8th grade students will be held on next Tuesday, 8/5. The event is from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. Begin arriving at 5:00 pm through the lunchroom doors for schedule pick up. The event will include pertinent info., community partners, and a tour.

CJD Staff: If you have not called the office and given your shirt size (for our district shirt) email Ms. Patterson and Ms. Adams this evening. We will submit sizes TOMORROW morning at 9:00 am. PRICES: $18.00 Sm-XL $20.00 2X $23.00 3x $25.00 4x *Stop by the school through Thursday of this week by 3:00 pm or Monday-Wednesday next week by 3:00 pm to pay. Call before leaving to ensure someone is here since in case we're in a meeting. Thank you!

CJD Parents: Reminder when purchasing school supplies to purchase only clear or mesh book bags. Other types will not be allowed in the building for safety of our students. This is a district policy.

CJD Parents: Parents please pick up your child's report card if you have not already done so. All prompts to register your child are at the bottom of the report card. There will not be a snap code this school term. Please utilize the information on your child's report card. Thank you!

CJD Summer Learning Reminder: Enrichment students should report promptly tomorrow, 6/18 at 6:15 am if attending the field trip to Huntsville. They should be picked up promptly at 3:00 pm; no bus will be available. UHOPE students will report at 11:30 am not 8:15 am.

CJD: 1. Summer learning students attending the field trip to Huntsville must report at 6:15 am tomorrow. They can't be left unattended; a chaperone must be present. 2. Rides must be waiting in the parking lot at 3:00 pm. Students will call if the time changes. THERE IS NO BUS pickup.

Correction: The field trip is Thursday, not tomorrow. UHOPE can report tomorrow at 8:15am. Thursday they report at 11:30 am.

Better Basics Participants: If your student chooses to stay for Better Basics in the afternoon, they must be picked up by 4:45 PM — no later than 5:00 PM. Please note: Two late pickups will disqualify your student from participating in Better Basics. Thank you for your cooperation

CJD car rider's vehicles should park on the lunchroom side. Please do not block the bus lane in front of the building. Additionally, if attending Better Basics, they can not be a walker, they must be picked up by 5:00 pm. FYI: Better Basics id open on Fridays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

CJD Summer Learning Updates Part 2: 5. There will be zero tolerance for disciplinary issues or refusal to complete work or activities. 6. 2:15 pm is pickup, otherwise they will be sent to Better Basics (available to all students up until 5:00 pm). 7. Better Basics is open on Fridays.

CJD Parents: Reminder that students riding the bus for summer learning or summer school should report to their regular bus route by 7:15 am this week. After this week the bus driver will give more specific route times.

CJD Parents: If you signed up your child for our summer learning program (summer enrichment) or summer school (for grade recovery) please check the email you provided when you registered them. It incudes dates/times and other important information.

We look forward to celebrating our scholars.
