Hello C J Donald Families,  This is a friendly reminder that our Fall Festival is Friday, October 31st. This year’s event includes a Hallway Trick-or-Treat, so students can enjoy a little spooky fun right here at school.   We’re asking each student to bring one or two bags of unopened candy to their homeroom teacher. Thanks for helping make it a sweet success!

CJD Parents: Remember there is no tutoring on Mondays and Fridays, only Tuesday through Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30 pm. Students should be picked up by 3:30 pm today and Friday.

It's Red Ribbon Week CJD "Piece Together a Drug-Free Life" Wear red to kick off the week!!!

All students and teachers at CJD should wear pink tomorrow Wednesday, 10/22 in honor of breast cancer awareness month.

CJD parents tutoring starts today from 3:30 to 4:30 pm. If you signed up your child they can begin today. Car riders should have their transportation outside waiting between 4:20 and 4:25 pm to ensure students are off campus on time. Failure to comply could result in removal. Bus transportation will be provided. We are celebrating Hispanic Heritage Week this week at CJ Donald. First Priority students should return their permission slips on Monday, 9/22 and email Ms. Phillips if they are planning to attend the Student Leader Summit on Tuesday.

A heartfelt thank you to our Community School Coordinator, Kala Goudy, for leading another successful volunteer project on September 18, 2025. Your dedication continues to make a lasting difference. We’re incredibly grateful to the amazing team from Regions for their enthusiastic support. From litter pickup to planting, trimming bushes, and enhancing our grounds, your commitment helped breathe new life into our campus.

If you are ever in need of hygiene products, clothing, toiletry, and/or any of your basic household needs-- Robinson Primary School will be launching their Community Closet on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.

Community Food Bank
