We are concluding our week of celebration and exploration with the Child Nutrition Staff. We have been intentional this year with operating within the vision of FCS through collaboration and dedication to life long learning in our department to make our program and services better. Today our staff embarked on a trip to Elmore County Schools to learn more about innovation in child nutrition from food trucks to catering and even operational efficiency techniques. We are soaring to greater heights as we continue growing as an intricate part of the puzzle which today was innovation.

Wear Green!
Not all heroes wear capes. But if you look around Fairfield City Schools this week you may just see a few of our very special heroes proudly and visibly wearing their capes. These heroes are diligently activating the super power of feeding bodies and fueling minds each and every day. Be sure to share a word or two of encouragement and appreciation to the best food service specialist to ever do it.
