Today, we are highlighting Dr. Dashannikia Smith Holston, Principal of Glen Oaks Intermediate School. Under her guidance, Glen Oaks has seen measurable academic progress, including a recent two-point gain on the state report card.
Dr. Smith Holston is championing a co-teaching model, where educators stronger in specific content areas work directly with students who need extra support. She is also a vocal advocate for using AI tools like Sidekick to reach students exactly where they are. We appreciate her commitment to making the future "blazing" for our Tigers!
