FHPS Anti-Bullying Week Celebration

ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE GUIDANCE DEPARTMENT

This week we are celebrating anti-bullying week.  Mean-ness is a sign of weakness.  So, this week, we are taking this opportunity to show how strong and united the student body of FHPS is!  Join with us as we come together in one giant message to show that we believe in showing kindness, acceptance, inclusion, and that no child should ever experience bullying.

Today’s quote is: “What if the kid you bullied at school, grew up and turned out to be the only surgeon who could save your life.”  TODAY’S ACTION ITEM IS:  to eliminate profanity and “cracking”.  Use kind words when talking to your peers.

 

Tuesday’s quote to continue celebrating anti-bullying week: “Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim.” TODAY’S ACTION ITEM IS:  to have lunch with someone new.

Wednesday’s quote to continue celebrating anti-bullying week: “Blowing out someone else’s candle, does not make yours shine any brighter.” TODAY’S ACTION ITEM IS:  to compliment the next person you talk to today.

Thursday’s quote to continue celebrating anti-bullying week: “People who love themselves don’t hurt others.  The more we hate ourselves, the more we want others to suffer. TODAY’S ACTION ITEM IS:  to send a positive text message to five different people.

Friday ’s quote to continue celebrating anti-bullying week: “Be careful with your words.  Once they are said they can only be forgiven – not forgotten.”  TODAY’S ACTION ITEM IS:  to write a kind note for a family member.  Kindness can begin at home.
